Well, today I called my doc to tell him I'm still coughing. Not a deep one but an annoying persistant cough none-the-less. He's suppossed to call me back later for a phone consult. Hopefully he won't have me come in again. I mean I'm doing ok financially but $20 a visit isn't fun when you're visiting a bunch.

I also called Cingular to let them know I haven't been able to call the 409 area code in awhile. All I get is the busy signal. They said they were aware of it and working on repairing the cell towers and getting some up. They suggested I turn my phone off and on three times and then try, calling it cycling power. Is that a strange solution or what?

I haven't noticed any difference in mood from my medicine yet. My sense of touch has seemed to improve a bit, I notice the feel of fabrics and sheets in my bed a bit more. My dreams are a bit more vivid and memorable, but not much. I still have the blah's though. They did say it would take several weeks to notice anything but I was hoping it would help a bit sooner. I want the old snarky cynical fun me back.

I'm playing some SWG too. I watched Amelie and Chocolat last Sunday with Jessica, and they cheered me up a bit along with her company. My old friend Brett is back in town from his marathon circuit, and he's unemployed so he may visit me sometime this week. He won the Montana marathon!

Has the doctor checked you for asthma? I have allergic asthma and when it shows up, I just start coughing and can't stop instead of getting the typical wheezing and shortness of breath. If your doctor can't figure it out, I'd ask for a referral to a specialist. There's no reason you should have a cough for so long!

I hope the mood meds start helping you soon.

*hugs*

I think the support people are on crack. The cell tower is not responsible for the routing of your call from Houston to Beaumont. It goes from your phone to the tower to a leased line to their long distance carrier. The problem is in the switch that determines which carrier to send your LD call to.

But I'm no longer a telco professional, so you can take my advice for what you paid for it :)

What meds are you on?

When I started Wellbutrin, it wasn't for almost a month before I noticed any change. I now have old lady shaky hands, though. That's about the only bad thing...well I don't sleep either...but I actually kind of like that...

It's good to know those things about Wellbutrin, since I'm getting ready to go on it myself. Thanks for the info. :-)

I take Wellbutrin, too. Unlike other antidepressants that stop serotonin absorbtion, Wellbutrin inhibits dopamine reuptake. Guess that would explain the trouble sleeping, eh?

I've also heard it increases sexual arousal, but I can't attest to that. (I'm on another medication that negates it, so I'm screwed -- but not in the way one would enjoy. j/k) :)

:) I didn't actually intend to inform anyone, but yey! :)

I though I should warn you that since I started Wellbutrin, I've turned into a HUGE horndog. Seriously. It might be too much info, but it's true. For some, this could be a good thing. For me, however, being single isn't helping, hee hee. :)

Good luck!
