Back from the land of the cluttered

Man does my family have Pack Rat genes. We threw out half the house and the damn garage and house is still full of crap.
English papers from when I was in 3rd grade. College books, toys, a mountains of clothes. Those that weren't totallly ruined went to Goodwill, most went to the trash.
Moving furniture from one room to the other so there was enough space to move around.
Lots of work. I now feel the urge to go through my own possessions and simplify like Walden. But not today.

I even brought back some stuff. Pictures of high school friends, a nice limited edition plane print I had, a few of my favorite books that were still in decent shape, a few items of clothes I could still use or give away to friends.

I'm tired.
I'm sore.
My mom is losing her common sense and becoming irrational.

We also watched Bed of Roses with Christian Slater and Mary S. Masterston. Interesting movie about a dysfunctional woman in a relationship.

Plans were made for a crawfish boil in Austin in the future. Yum.
