Springfield nights

There's some improv stuff on Thursdays and Friday downtown that I might check out sometime, maybe even this week if I can drag myself away from Warcraft long enough. As my social adventures with native Missourians appear to have dried up, I'll probably be playing more than I anticipated this weekend. I may also try one of those mystery dinner things at a place called the pythorian castle or something like that.

I talked to my friend Rilee yesterday, and he's doing well. He's enjoying the Guild Wars game I traded him for Warcraft, so I'm glad my investment in that one is giving somebody joy.

Oh, I'm also online with the messenger thing during the day now as our project guys like to have IM so we can ask questions and get quick answers.

I'll leave ya'll with a picture of Yosemite and of our chief ranger talking about the cannons in Wilson's Creek Battlefield.

Frog season? Who knew...

From the Springfield paper article on Frog season : Caption - Frog season begins tonight. Frogs may be harvested by hand net, gig, trotline, throw line, limb line, bank line, jug line, snagging, snaring, grabbing or pole and line. Artificial light is allowed. They can also be taken with .22-caliber firearms, pellet guns, longbows and crossbows.

Hee. I'd pay to go hunt frogs with a crossbow for about an hour. *Twang*Thunk,Croak!

Oh, and if you're wondering where my new dire bear icon is from...
