Bork!

Cooking - Country Ham Soup

I love soups. So last night I decided to make a soup to use up all my veggies that would'nt keep.
It turned out pretty good.

Country Ham Vegetable Soup

5 potatoes
1 bag baby carrots
1 can corn
1 diced onion
1-2 pound diced precooked picnic ham
Enough water to boil (8 cups maybe)
- Boil this until the potatoes are cooked and then lightly mash everything
(or you could dice prior to boiling, but I just got a masher and wanted to test it out)
1 can cream of mushroom soup (cream of anything would work)
1/4 cup Tony's Cajun and/or TexJoy Steak seasoning
1 package turkey gravy
1 package brown/mushroom gravy
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 cup BBQ sauce
1 tablespoon minced garlic (I used about 3 which was too much)
Handful of salt, bit of fresh cracked pepper
Stir and let simmer for about 30 minutes, then taste, season to taste
and let simmer for another 10 minutes or so.

Yummy good.
