I just got a new 56" DLP 1080p TV to watch it on as my old TV finally had too many pink and purple off-color areas to put up with when watching some shows and playing video games. Coupled with the fact my dad visited and had a truck to allow me to cart the new TV and stand home.
I watched Heroes and Studio 60 last night with Rilee. Heroes was good, definately going to make the DVR cut. Studio 60 I'm still on the fence about. I like my shows to be primarily escapist and fantsy/sci-fi or snarky/funny/quirky. This one doesn't really fall into either of those categories, so I'll probably end up passing. I guess I just can't relate to the characters, which probably isn't bad because some are recently coke-snorting TV execs. Jericho won't make the cut either. I mean on a post-nuke dystopian show you don't really need a main character with a shadowy past and escaped convicts to spice it up. It seems too soap opera like and filled with cliches.

But all your old TV needs is a degauze. Usually runs around $25-$50 from a TV repair shop.
