Another fun meme brought to you by rfreebern.

I had the Tortilla Soup at Pappasitto's today. First time I've eaten at a mexican restaurant in months. I'm still feeling good, so that's a good sign. I even had a few chips and about a spoonful of salsa.

It was my co-worker's 40th birthday and they made a big deal and took her out to eat, which irritates me a bit since they didn't do anything for my 30th. Oh well, what you gonna do. Bitter and hold a grudge much? .. yes .. thank you very much.

I'm seeming in love with periods today...............................

Mom threw something in my face today this morning that I need to talk about with her, so I'm still dealing with fallout from the incident last week.

Serena and I had a little spat a few days ago. The upside of her being very emotionally analytical is that she immediately knew what she had done to make me upset without me even having to explain it to her, which was nice in a way and also upsetting for some reason. I always thought I was difficult to read, but apparently not. If I get upset, I try not to let it show too much until I cool off and am ready to discuss it rationally.

On a related note... I always thought you weren't suppossed to talk about your ex (or old Significant Others) on a date unless the conversation was really, really relevant or specifically about old flames. What are ya'lls feeling on that?

Wow, I was one of the good gals that actually handed over some candy :) That Serena is a trickster I see ;)

I think it is really good that you two are talking about things and working through stuff in the earlier stages. A lot of times people hold back letting someone know if something bothers them, or having little debates, especially early on. When that happens, there is no learning and growth, and it is rather unhealthy for the relationship. This is from my experience, I am by far NO expert.

I find that my ex comes up now and again. I think that is pretty normal, he was a part of my life for 13 years. It would be weird to NEVER mention him, in my opinion. Like I was holding back, keeping things. I like to be very open when dating. I do not play by any particualr rules. I am honest, and myself, and where ever it takes me, it does. That make any sense to you?
